Polarized Plastic Lenses
A polarized filter is produced by stretching a thin sheet of polyvinyl alcohol to align the molecular components into parallel rows. The material is then passed through a solution of iodine. The iodine molecules alight themselves along these parallel rows. In a polarized lens, the rows are oriented vertically in order to maximally reduce the horizontally reflected light.

Polarized lenses are high recommended for people who enjoy skiing, boating, fishing, and many other outdoor activities. They also make great driving sunglasses (especially at dusk).

Polarized lenses are manufactured with UV and scratch resistant.

Prescription recommendation: (+3.00 to -6.00).
